SMALL ARMY of KAZAKI GIANTS
began in Helsinki in 2010 as a recording project for theatre soundtracks. Quickly we discovered that the possibilities of live looping allowed not only freedom of improvisation, but also full band sound from a duo set-up.

Ville Niska are a little band with a big sound! With inspiration and influence
from jazz to punk, balkan to heavy rock, we craft songs that mix humor and
fantasy with intense drive and layered melodies. Horns, guitars, drums and
vocals conjure up thick soundscapes.
we're Doing-It-Ourselves, and like to collaborate... some of our more frequent co-musicians & performers are - Linnea Happonen, Lukas Tekly, Katrine Weigelt, and Krepsko Theatre Group.
